PURPOSE:To prevent a rubber part from separating from a cord part, starting from the point of a weft by using the same material of the weft as that of a warp so that the adhesiveness between the rubber part and the cord part may be equivalent to the adhesiveness between the weft and warp. CONSTITUTION:Wefts 2 which are treated with the treatment liquid used for nylon tyre cord are parallelly arranged to a width of 5mm. in the direction of the warps of a topping calender cord fabric 1 having a thickness of 1.2mm. on said fabric. Another cord fabric is then put thereon and pressed firmly. Multi-filament of the same material as of the warp with respect to the cord fabric is used in a pneumatic tyre in which the cord fabric consisting of both wefts and warps made of the same material is used as a reinforcement. If the wefts are used as polyester cord, the warps are formed in multi-filament yarn which is similar to the polyester cord, however, if the warps are 6-nylon cord, the wefts may be multi-filament of 6-nylon. |
