PURPOSE:To apply the titled system to the respective types of softwares treating a graphic and to enhance the function of graphics by adding a natural width to a segment or a polygonal line applied as a point string and displaying. CONSTITUTION:On all the combinations of two adjacent points of the two endpoints of a segment or respective points constituting the polygonal line, these two points are made middle points of an opposite sides and a rectangular shape is plotted so as to make the length of the opposite side equal to the value of the separately applied size and further, at the time of plotting the polygonal line, a slit generated in the connecting part of the rectangular shape is padded by plotting a circle a diameter of which is equal to the size or plotting a part of the circle. Namely, when the width of line is applied to an original segment, an original polygonal line or the polygonal line to display, a natural size can be represented by using a feature that the shortest distance to an edge excluding the segment including the end points of the size applied segment or polygonal line can be made constant on all picture elements constituting the original segment and the original polygonal line. |
