PURPOSE: To prevent the contact of a slider with a disk surface and the sticking thereof to the disk surface by constituting the laminated suspension of a flexible sheet and first and second metallic layers which are respectively of specific flat types. CONSTITUTION: This laminated suspension is formed of the flat type flexible sheet material 10 formed by adhering its both surfaces to patterned metallic layers 12, 14 and consists of an arm part 20, a slider part 22 and a link part 24 coupling these to each other. The arm part 30 and link part 34 of the first metallic layer 12 are disconnected from each other in such a manner that the hinges 43 of the flexible sheet material 10 are formed. The second metallic layer 14 includes patterned conductors 51, 53, 55, 57 for electrically connecting the transducer on the slider. The parts corresponding to the hinge parts 43 are bent so as to be deflected toward the disk surface by small loading force. As a result, the transducer on the negative pressure slider is prevented from coming into contact with the disk surface and the sticking effect is eliminated. |
