PURPOSE:To obtain a positive photosensitive compsn. for a printing plate capable of enhancing sensitivity without exerting an unfavorable influence on other important characteristics such as development latitude by incorporating a specified additive. CONSTITUTION:This positive photosensitive compsn. for a printing plate contains a compd. represented by the formula besides an o-quinone-diazido compd. or a diazonium salt. In the formula, each of R1-R5 is H, hydroxyl, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy or alkenyl and at least one of R1-R5 is hydroxyl. |
