The stopper-shaped conical container (1) has a laterally angled, wide rim at the top; its length depends on the depth underground of the passages (5); and the thickness depends on the type of rodent and diameter of passage. The point of the conical body contains one or more hollow cavities (2) containing a rodent-killer material (4). The top end has an outward-pointing rim (3) preventing it slipping into the passage through the layer of earth above it. The container is made of biodegradable material such as sawdust, plant fibre, paper mache.
