<p>An apparatus for detecting wear in a flush valve configured to at least partially reseal based upon water pressure within the flush valve. The flush valve is associated with a typical water pressure or pressure range required to at least partially reseal the flush valve during operation. During normal operation, the typical water pressure or pressure range is present in the flush valve at a known time after operation. The apparatus comprises a microprocessor configured to: determine a sensed water pressure in at least a portion of the flush valve at the known time required to at least partially reseal the flush valve during normal operation; determine if the sensed water pressure is less than the typical water pressure or pressure range; and generate at least one signal if the sensed water pressure is determined to be less than the typical water pressure or pressure range.</p> |
