SOLUTION: In an absorptive article 1 having a liquid preservative absorbing layer 4 and a liquid non-permeable leakage-preventing layer 3, saturation absorption amount of a physiological solution of sodium chloride in the absorbing layer 4 is more than 5000 g/m2 and centrifugal preservation amount is more than 1000 g/m2, thickness Ad5 is 5 to 45 mm when a load of 5 g/cm2 is applied to the absorptive article of dried condition, and thickness Ad100 is 3 to 20 mm when a load of 100 g/cm2 is given thereto, and compression deformation follow-up rate Cd[Cd=(Ad5-Ad100)/Ad5×100] is 45 to 90%.
