Invention relates to the separation of minerals, in particular, to the magnetic separation of slightly magnetic ores. The magnetic system of drum separator includes cowling, radially magnetized blocks of polarity in the form of ferromagnetic rectangular base, magnetic wedges, lateral rectangular plates made of soft-iron material, plates of basic magnets, support magnets, concentrator made of ferromagnetic material protruding above the surface of magnet block. Invention ensures the increase of strength and uniformity of magnetic field on the working surface of the drum.
