A system and a method for managing vehicle repair information by using RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) are provided to display vehicle information stored at an RFID tag when a vehicle to which the tag is attached enters an auto repair ship, to store an updated vehicle repair history at the RFID tag after the repair and to enable a vehicle owner to confirm the updated repair history on the internet or at a mobile communication terminal. A system for managing vehicle repair information by using RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) includes an RFID tag(11), an RFID reader/writer(21), and an auto repair shop terminal(22). The RFID tag stores vehicle information and is attached in one side of the vehicle. The RFID reader/writer reads or updates vehicle information stored in the RFID tag when the vehicle enters an auto repair shop. The repair company terminal displays vehicle information read in the RFID reader/writer and stores a vehicle repair history after repairing the vehicle. |
