PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of a hot press molded article capable of easily evaluating the largest depth of a microcrack generated in a hot press molded article when a surface treatment steel plate having a Zn-Ni plated layer is heated and then press-molded to manufacture a hot press molded article, and a manufacturing method of a hot press molded article capable of suppressing generation of microcracks.SOLUTION: The evaluation method of a hot press molded article includes: the analytic model setting step S1 of setting the analytic model of the hot press molded article 11; the hot press molding condition setting step S3 of setting a hot press molding condition; the hot press molding analysis step S5 of performing hot press molding analysis for the analytic model under the hot press molding condition; and the hot press molded article evaluation step S7 of evaluating the largest depth of a microcrack generated in the hot press molded article 11 manufactured under the hot press molding condition based on equivalent plastic strain in the surface layer of the hot press molded article 11 calculated in the hot press molding analysis step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
