PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method of actuating a switching valve for heating devices.SOLUTION: A drive unit 1 for translatory actuation of a switching valve for heating devices has a rotating drive 3, a gear mechanism, and a switch 19 for electrical deactivation of the drive in valve end positions. The rotating drive, the gear mechanism and the switch are arranged in a base 6. The gear mechanism converts a rotary motion into a linear motion and is configured such that when the rotating drive is in a continuous motion the translationally moving output of the gear mechanism produces a non-linear displacement-time motion and/or a non-linear displacement-force behavior in both directions of the motion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
