PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb greasiness well even on a sweated skin and to improve an absorbing capacity. SOLUTION: An absorbent paper material 13a with resin thermally transferred all over is fed from a roller 11 to an embossing device 30. This device 30 applies an arbitrary roll embossing finish such as matte, texture and crepe, to the absorbent paper material 13a. Consequently, the entire surface of the material 13 is formed with a projected and recessed parts having roundish corners. The material 13 so processed by the embossing device 30 is wound by a roller 35. The material 13 is then cut to the size of an actual product to form the absorbent paper. Greasiness is absorbed well, even in the presence of perspiration, by removing smoothness with the projected and recessed part of the absorbent paper. In addition, the absorbing capacity is improved through the roundish corners of such projected and recessed part. |
