PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a data loss of a non-volatile memory.SOLUTION: A SSD 30 is provided with a flash memory 37, and is connected to a chip set 20 through a serial bus 32. In a standby state, a power of the SSD 30 is halted. Prior to transit to the standby state, an EC 40 is configured to set a residual time until data stored in the flash memory 37 is lost to a battery unit 60, and count a lapsed time since the battery unit transits to the standby state. During the standby state, the EC 40 is configured to: temporarily wake up by a timer 57; monitor the lapsed time counted by the battery unit 60; supply a power to a prescribed device when determining that the residual time has come; and transmit a refresh command to the SSD 30. |
