PURPOSE:To safely and efficiently peel the productive membrane on the front surface of the retina by providing a probe having a guide blade whose leading end part has a predetermined curved surface and the peeling blade operated along the curved surface of the guide blade and operating the peeling blade by a drive means. CONSTITUTION:An operator holds the grip part 3 of a probe 2 to insert a peeling blade part 4 in an eyeball and hooks a part of the productive membrane on the front surface of the retina using the tip part of a fixed blade 6 to insert the peeling blade part 4. The air pressure controller of the vitreous operation device main body 1 is operated to obtain compressed air at set pressure and the send-out of compressed air to the probe and the discharge thereof therefrom are repeated at a predetermined interval. When a piston is reciprocally moved, the tip part of a moving blade 7 is guided by the fixed blade 6 to be reciprocally moved between the initial position and the tip of the fixed blade 6. By this constitution, the wide tip part of the moving blade 7 peels the productive membrane. |
