<p>PURPOSE: To provide a recording solution which comprises an aqueous medium and a polymer having a specific recurring units, thus can make records of high reliability because of good ink ejection with high concentration records because water resistance is good even or plain paper recording. CONSTITUTION: This recording solution comprises (A) an aqueous medium, (B) pigments (preferably carbon black), and (C) at least one of polymers having (i) a recurring unit containing one or more of carboxyl or acid anhydride groups, (preferably a unit derived from acrylic acid) and (ii) an allyl ether unit of the formula [R1 , R2 are each H, a 1-5C (substituted) alkyl; R3 is H, an alkyl(carbonyl), a cycloalkyl(carbonyl), a heterocyclic group (containing carbonyl); n is 1-50]. It is preferred that the component C contains 10-70 mole % of component (i) and 5-70 mole % of component (ii).</p> |
