PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preform displays of different display attributes every specific area being on the display screen of a picture display device by defining allotments of functions of the picture display device, an information processor and an operating system controlling the information processor. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a picture display device 110 having a specific area display attribute changing means 113 changing display attributes of specific areas being on the display screen, an information processor 100 having a display control means generating a picture signal and transmitting it to the picture display device 110 and communication means which are respectively provided in the information processor 110 and the display device 110 and which perform communication according to a USB standard. The information processor 100 transmits area attribute information for changing the display attributes of the specific areas being on the display screen to the display device 110 via the communication means and the display device 110 changes the display attributes of the specific areas being on the display screen according to the area attribute information received from the processor 110 by the specific area display changing means 113.
