PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively obtain specified display/protection functions for plural applications stored in an IC card by permitting any application program to execute a processing operation, to generate a response and to transmit it to an IC card terminal equipment when a command for requesting display data from the IC card terminal equipment is received. SOLUTION: The operating system of the IC card 5 judges the type of the command when it receives the command from the IC card terminal equipment 1. When the received command is an application identifier acquiring command, a pair of the application identifier and a name, which are registered in the IC card 5, are stored in records in the response of the format and the response to the application identifier acquiring command is generated. The application having the identifier is set to be a selection state. The response is transmitted to the IC card terminal equipment 1. |
