PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication terminal equipment which can always secure constant time until the termination of a busy tone detection processing terminates after a dial key input processing terminates. SOLUTION: In the input of a first dial key 38 (S15:YES), a dialed flag is set, a timer 19 is reset and clocking is started (S16 and S17) in a dial input processing. When input is not by the first dial key 38 and the clocking time of the timer 19 does not pass time T2 being a second prescribed value, the timer 19 is reset and clocking is started again (S15:NO, S19:NO and S17). When input is not the first dial key 38 and the clock time of the timer 19 passes time T2 being the second prescribed value, the timer 19 is not reset (S15;NO and S19:YES). Dial data is transmitted to an exchange and the dial input processing is terminated (S18).
