PURPOSE: A vacuum filter having a coating control part and a method for coating using thereof are provided which are able to uniformly coat a filter layer on a filter fabric. CONSTITUTION: In the vacuum filter comprising (i) a filter fabric which is installed on the outer circumference surface of a filter drum to execute a precise filtering and is coated by a filter layer and (ii) a shaft which has an edge of a knife on one end to remove alien substances absorbed on the surface of the filter layer and a touch part on the other end to be moved back and forth by a detecting part and comprises a power transmitting part, which has a gear box having a worm and a worm wheel, and a forward and backward motor, which is able to move the shaft in a forward or a backward direction, and a removing part having a collecting case, which is able to collect the alien substances removed by the edge of a knife, a coating control part(10) is equipped at the removing part(90) to uniformly coat the coating surface of the filter materials being are absorbed on the outer circumference surface of the filter fabric(56) through a vacuum suction of the filter drum(50). The method comprises steps of: (i) moving forward the shaft to the outside of the filter fabric of the filter drum; (ii) moving backward the removing edge of a knife and the coating edge of a knife with uniformly coating the coating surface of the filter materials, which are absorbed on the outer circumference surface of the filter fabric by an internal vacuum pressure of the filter drum, with the coating edge of a knife; and (iii) if the filter layer having a regular thickness is formed, positioning the edge of a knife of the removing part and the coating edge of a knife part in the same line to perform filtering.
