PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fine particle having an opening part and its simple manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the hollow fine particle having an opening comprises a step for preparing a dispersion by dispersing (a) a polymerizable hardly water-soluble monomer, (b) a seed polymer particle, (c) a hardly water-soluble solvent, (d) an ionic or nonionic dispersion stabilizer of a molecular weight of at most 20,000 having surface active performances and (e) an oil-soluble polymerization initiator in (f) a hydrophilic solvent, a step for lowering solubility of the hardly water-soluble monomer (a), the hardly water-soluble organic solvent (c) and the oil-soluble polymerization initiator (e) among the components (a)-(e) constituting the dispersion thereby to cause the seed polymer particle (b) to absorb the hardly water-soluble monomer (a), the hardly water-soluble organic solvent (c) and the oil-soluble polymerization initiator (e), and a step for causing the hardly water-soluble monomer (a) to selectively polymerize in the seed polymer particle (b).
