PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct linearity deviation and density deviation in a CCD output stage by two or more channels of a 4-channel output CCD. SOLUTION: Photoelectric conversion signals of two or more photoelectric conversion elements arranged in a strait line state, are respectively output as outputs OS1, OS2 by shift registers and output buffers for every odd-numbered elements and even-numbered elements of one side dividing the photoelectric conversion element arrangement in the center part, and respectively output as outputs OS3, OS4 by shift registers and output buffers for every odd-numbered elements and even-numbered elements of another side. The outputs are made by an output gate signalϕ2B supplied to output gates of every shift registers, and the output OS can be changed by changing a falling slope of the signal. Therefore, the falling slope of the output gate signalϕ2B created by a timing generating circuit 21, is changed by filter circuits 23, 25 of variable register types, and output OS are separately changed and output.
