PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mathod of imbalance correction for rotor of a motor, which can provide low-vibration/low-noise, high-efficiency as well as a safe motor, without having to cut the surface of rotor teeth or sticking a clay-like material on the surface of the rotor. SOLUTION: Members that differ in length and specific gravity are disposed in the open-slot portion of the rotor core of the motor rotor for correcting the weight imbalance of the rotor, so that there will not even be partial cutting of the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core, or the gap size between the stator and the rotor from increasing partially and averagely. Furthermore, members for correcting the imbalance are inserted and fixed in the gap of the open-slot portion of the rotor core, so that the members will not disengage at high speed rotation. or the like.
