<p>A hand tool (100) with a shaft (11), and a working implement (1) at one end of the shaft (11). The shaft (11) is adapted to be gripped at or proximate its other end. The shaft (11) defines a generally straight proximal portion (16) at or proximate the proximal end of the tool (100) and a generally straight distal portion (2) proximate the distal end of the tool (100), these two portions lying generally along the longitudinal axis of the shaft (11). The working implement (1) is coupled to the distal portion (2) of the shaft (11). There is a handle member (7) coupled to both the proximal portion (16) and the distal portion (2) of the shaft (11), the handle member (7) defining a loop that is offset from the longitudinal axis of the shaft (11), and may have a general "C" shape.</p> |
