An edge-planing machine includes a bed with supports for installation of metal sheets, a mechanism of their loading and unloading, a portal with clamps fixed in the lower part, a carriage with a drive, which is installed with possibility of displacement on bed ways. The carriage is equipped with a control panel and with two supports, one of which is equipped with a planing head. Another support of carriage is equipped with a milling head, which is fixed on the guides of carriage, and a mechanism of its vertical displacement. The milling head includes a housing, which contains a base and two prisms rigidly fastened on it with open-end holes, ends located along one axis at a certain distance between them and rigidly connected by inserts, and also a spindle unit, which is installed in the open-end hole of prisms and consists of a case detachably fixed by one end with the aid of flange on the housing of electric motor and spindle installed inside the case on the bearings. By one end the spindle is rigidly fastened with the output shaft of electric motor, and by another end - with end-milling cutter, where the spindle unit is located inside the housing with a space, in which the wedges are installed. |
