PURPOSE:To equalize dispersion of an electrostatic charging controller in the inside of the toner and among the toner particles and to enhance printing quality by dissolving a part of a binder resin and said controller in a a solvent, mixing them, coarsely crushing the obtained resin blocks, heat kneading this coarse power, the rest of the binder resin, and a colorant to form toner lumps, and pulverizing them to obtain a toner power. CONSTITUTION:A part of the binder resin and a charging controller are dis solved in a solvent, and mixed, and the solvent is evaporated to give resin blocks, they are crushed coarsely, these crushed particles and the rest of the binder resin and a colorant are heat kneaded to form toner lumps, and they are pulverized to obtain a toner powder. Since said controller can not be uni formly dispersed into the toner only by heat melting the binder resin, the control ler, and the colorant and kneading them, and it dispersion is not yet insufficient, the controller and kneading the, and it dispersion is not yet insufficient, the controller and a part of the binder resin are dissolved in a solvent and dried to obtain the resin blocks contg. the uniformly dispersed controller, and these blocks are crushed, the rest of the binder resin and the colorant are added, the mixture are heat melted and kneaded to obtain a uniformly dispersed toner. |
