<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack for an image forming apparatus enabling a person using a wheelchair to easily operate the image forming apparatus, to easily take out a paper discharged, and to easily approach and separate the rack to a copying machine at any time. <P>SOLUTION: Long and slender straight line channel parts 20 and 24 inclined downward toward a copying machine side are respectively provided on facing faces of leg parts 12c and 12d of the rack 10. Projected parts 32a and 32b are provided on a paper discharging tray 30, and the projected part 32a and the projected part 32b are respectively fitted into the channel part 20 and the channel part 24 to fix the paper discharging tray 30. By installing such a rack that has a constitution like this close to a discharging opening 122 side of the image forming apparatus 1, the paper discharged from the image forming apparatus 1 is stored into the paper discharging tray 30.
