AUTOMATIC MAINTENANCE SYSTEM FOR COMMODITY MASTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate waste for new commodity information registration at a specialty store and speedily complete the commodity master by registering new commodity information from a specialty store which obtain the new commodity information early. SOLUTION: A specialty store A inputs new commodity information from an input part 3 by using the processing part 4 of a POS system (a) and registers it in a store commodity master and a new commodity information transmission file. The host computer 9 at a processing center generates a store-classified new commodity information transmission file from a commodity master and a POS information management master on the basis of the new commodity information sent from the specialty store A and sends it to respective specialty stores. The POS system of a specially store B to which the file is sent performs the registration to the commodity master on the basis of the store-classified new commodity information transmission file.
