<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in sound quality, to suppress large-sized configuration and to reduce the cost in the case of converting a digital audio signal with a format in compliance with a signal transmission standard into a digital audio signal with a format in compliance with other signal transmission standard. SOLUTION: The converter converts a digital audio signal with a DV format in compliance with the IEEE 1394 into a digital audio signal with a format of the IEC 958 standard, and is provided with a 1st oscillation circuit 11 for the 1394 audio signal, a 2nd oscillation circuit 26 for the 958 audio signal, a sample rate converter 4 that converts the 1394 audio signal into the 958 audio signal based on clock signals from the 1st oscillation circuit 11 and the 2nd oscillation circuit 26, a microcomputer 12 that converts the format of the digital audio signal subject to sampling rate conversion into the 958 audio signal and a signal processing circuit 5.</p> |
