<p>Source-sorted organic domestic waste and other organic materials containing undesired foreign bodies are separated in a useful fraction and a residual fraction in which the undesired foreign bodies are present. This is done in that, without preceding sorting, the organic material is mixed with an anaerobically digested material having a temperature of 30-60 DEG C, and that the mixture is digested in an anaerobic digestion tank, following which the liquid useful fraction, which contains i.a. nutritive salts and dissolved organic substances, is separated from the solid residual fraction in a manner known per se. The liquid fraction can then be discharged directly as a fertilizer on farm land.</p> |
