<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery capable of improving cycle characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: A rooled electrode body 20 in which a positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22 are laminated and wound around via a separator 23 is provided in a battery can 11. The separator 23 is impregnated with an electrolytic solution. A mixed solvent of a cyclic ester dielectric having halogen atoms and a chain compound having halogen atoms is used as a solvent.
