<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication apparatus that can be miniaturized and realize the compatibility between the establishment of an excellent distortion characteristic at transmission of a wireless signal and low consumed current at non-transmission of the wireless signal, and to provide an antenna switching apparatus mounted on the wireless communication apparatus, and a mobile wireless communication apparatus such as a mobile wireless telephone terminal. <P>SOLUTION: The antenna switching apparatus 101 includes: a first operating mode where an antenna and a transmission/reception section 104 are connected at a first consumed current with a first distortion characteristic; and a second operating mode where the antenna and the transmission/reception section 104 are connected at a second consumed current greater than the first consumed current with a second distortion characteristic providing a smaller distortion than that of the first distortion characteristic. A control means 105 detects a signal transmission state of the transmission/reception section 104 and transmits a control signal for switching the operating mode of the antenna switching apparatus 101 into either of the first and second operating modes depending on a result of the detection to the antenna switching apparatus 101. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
