PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an abnormal shape from occurring on a cut surface by providing a gap between rectangular bag materials which are intermittently moving and positioned forward and backward and by simultaneously cutting two corners of the adjacent forward and backward bag materials across the gap into an arcuate form. SOLUTION: As soon as composite strip sheets A, B are cut by cutting blades 5, 6, they are held between belts 11, 12 and moved forward by a slightly longer distance than a feed distance of a feed roll 4. As a subsequent bag is fed by the feed roll 4, as soon as it is cut it is held between the belts 11, 12 in a similar manner, and it is correctly fed by the same distance as the previous one. Slightly more and rapid feeding by the belts 11, 12 causes a small gap (small distance) between a bag positioned forward and a bag positioned backward. Three pairs of male punches 14 and female punches 15 at a cutting position cut adjacent corners of the bags which have been intermittently carried at the small distance.
