An electronic shelf system using RFID identification and a shelf data processing method are provided to solve a problem that tag information is overlapped by generating a new data region about the overlapped data when storing the tag information. An electronic shelf system forms data regions for each region, and stores tag information of each region at a correspondent region(S310). The electronic shelf system generates a new data region for overlapped tag information to store the correspondent tag information(S320). If identical tag information exists in a neighbor data region, the electronic shelf system maintains one data region, deletes the correspondent tag information stored at the rest data region and stores the tag information(S333).
