A fluorinated copolymer which is a copolymer of a polyfluoroalkyl alcohol (meth)acrylate represented by general formula [I]: CnF2n+1(CH2CF2)a(CF2CF2)b(CH2CH2)cOCOCR=CH2 (wherein R: a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; n: 1 to 6; a: 1 to 4; b: 1 to 3; c: 1 to 3), benzyl (meth)acrylate or styrene, and an Si group-containing crosslinkable (meth)acrylate represented by general formula [II]: CH2=CRCOO(CH2)dSi(OR1)eR2 3-e (wherein R: a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R1 and R2: independently an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; d: 1 to 3; e: 1 to 3). A surface modifier containing the fluorinated copolymer as an active ingredient can exhibit an excellent dynamic sliding angle and excellent anti-corrosive properties after washing with hexadecane. |
