PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present information regarding the characteristics of a signal detection device for detecting a signal of a long duration, in addition to an impulse-like signal, as a desired signal.SOLUTION: An information presentation device of the present embodiment presents information regarding the characteristics of a signal detection device for detecting a signal using a sequential probability ratio test (SPRT) on the basis of a signal from a sensor, the device carrying out a Monte Carlo simulation on the basis of simulation specifications in order to simulate the process of the signal detection device and the signal of the sensor, adopting a target-detected or target-not-detected determination result and the number of samples when the determination result is obtained as simulation results, collecting the simulation results, statistically processing the collected simulation results in order to calculate a value corresponding to statistical processing specifications, and presenting the statistically processed result as information pertaining to the characteristics of the signal detection device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
