PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grip for a fishing rod that can lightly perform jigging operation while avoiding troubles such as occurrence of cracks in a rod tip side end of a reel seat mounting portion, and thereby can exhibit stable performance even for use over a long term.SOLUTION: A base sheet 12 is wound to a rod material 1A from the reel seat mounting part to the rod root end, and the reel seat mounting part is formed in a taper-shaped mounting seat 11 for a reel seat becoming a large diameter by a predetermined rate over a range from a rod tip side to a rod root side. A linear mounting seat 13 for mounting a grip is formed in which the same outer diameter as the outer diameter of the rod root end of the taper-shaped mounting seat 11 for the reel seat is maintained from the rod root side end part of the taper-shaped mounting seat 11 for the reel seat to the rod root end of a hand side rod body 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
