An apparatus for automatic alerting in case of crash of a land, airborne or marine means of transportation, comprising a central data processing unit (1), and, in functional communication with said central unit (1), a non-volatile memory (3); satellite localisation means (7); dynamic event sensors; mobile cell phone or radio communications means (11); a panic button (13; 13A) to manually control the sending of a signal to the central unit (1); an electric power supply; means of containment, equipped with fixing means for quick assembly in the means of transportation integrally with it. The central unit (1) is programmed for detecting crash events of the means of transportation and dialling an emergency call, upon reception of a panic signal sent upon pressure application to the panic button or upon detection of a crash event of the means of transportation. The apparatus is additionally usable as an alarm or as an immobilizer of a motor vehicle through suitable pressures on the panic button (13; 13A); and rearview mirror wherein the apparatus is housed. |
