PURPOSE:To improve operability by providing a means for inhibiting the display of a photographing mode by a display means when a state signal shows that a lens cover is closed. CONSTITUTION:The title camera is provided with the means for inhibiting the display of the photographing modes 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26 by the display means 15 when the state signal from a means for outputting the state signal which shows the state of the lens cover by interlocking with the opening and closing the lens cover shows that the lens cover is closed. Namely, when the lens cover is closed, the display of the photographing modes 16, 18, 20, 22, 24 and 26 is made to disappear with the state signal. Since the display of the photographing mode disappears at the time of closing the lens cover, it is automatically instructed to a user that photographing can not be performed. |
