<p>PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of irregularity and whitening phenomenon, etc., on the formed inorganic formed article surface by blending a composition for inorganic formed article consisting of an aqueous solution of an alkali metal silicate, an inorganic solid ingredient, a filler, etc., with an organic substance-treated organic bentonite at a specific amount. CONSTITUTION:(A) 15-30 pts.wt. aqueous solution of an alkali metal silicate (e.g. aqueous solution of sodium silicate) is blended with (B) 15-40 pts.wt. inorganic solid ingredient (e.g. fly ash), (C) 30-70 pts.wt. filler (e.g. silica sand) and (D) an organic substance-treated organic bentonite of 5-20 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total of these components A, B and C to produce the composition for inorganic formed article. Furthermore, the component D is obtained by treating bentonite with an amine (e.g. phenylene diamine), organic cation salt (e.g. trimethyloctadecyl ammonium salt), etc. The resultant composition for inorganic formed article is incombustible and non-fuming and preferably used as inner and outer wall materials, etc.</p> |
