A stirrup is made up of two integrally cast parts (10 and 12). The member (10) includes two inwardly directed lugs (26) which extend towards each other from opposed side members (18). The lugs (26) are located in correspondingly shaped holes (27) in the member (12) by flexing the members (18) away from each other, aligning the lugs (26) with the holes (27), and allowing the lugs (26) to snap into the holes (27) under the natural flexure of the members (18). The lugs (26) and the holes (27) are formed when the parts (10 and 12) are cast.
|
