PURPOSE:To enhance the responsiveness to variation in a buffer clearance, and to cope with the variation by use of simple means or a small input type actuator. CONSTITUTION:A bumper rubber 11 is attached to the outer periphery of a piston rod 6 projected upward from the upper end face of an outer cylinder 5 of a shock absorber 4. The lower end part of the bumper rubber 11 has two lower surfaces on opposite sides of the axis S1 of the shock absorber, one 11a of the two lower surfaces being relatively higher than the other thereof so as to form a protrusion 11b. The upper end face of the outer cylinder 5 vertically facing the lower end face of the bumper rubber 11 is formed with a stepped part so as to make the buffer clearances thereof equal to each other, and a grand packing 12 is secured to the upper end face. Thereby, a recess mated with the protrusion 11b is formed in the grand packing 12. |
