PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile brake device which can obtain braking force proportional to an operating force of driver's fingers without injuring assembling ability, and therefore shorten an idle running distance at the time of braking. SOLUTION: An automobile brake device is equipped with the first and the second grip type handle brake switch for outputting an electric signal proportional to the gripping force of fingers having grasped a steering wheel; a servomotor 10 which can reciprocate the piston shaft of a master cylinder 3 independently of a brake pedal 1; and a controller 12 for drive-controlling the servomotor 10 so as to obtain braking force proportional to an input signal sent from the handle brake switch. |
