摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing which exhibits good friction and abrasion properties, and also does not damage to the material being contacted with the bearing, due to the absence of a hard substance in the bearing, by utilizing a self-lubricating resin composition which contains a polyphenylenesulfide resin as a main component and specific amounts of a tetrafluoroethylene resin and a fusible fluororesin as essential components. SOLUTION: A typical type of a polyphenylenesulfide resin to be used is represented by the formula. A polyphenylenesulfide resin having no crosslinking and the one being partially crosslinked are both utilized. This resin composition comprises 5 to 40 wt.% tetrafluoroethylene resin and 3 to 20 wt.% fusible fluororesin as essential components. Fusible fluororesins include an ethylene- tetrafluoroethylene copolymer. It is preferred that this composition further comprises an aromatic polyamide fiber. The composition is capable of being injection-molded, and can generally be molded with ease by various processes.
