PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tableware drier which has a hot air generating device under the tableware basket, prevents hot air from blowing out and improves in drying efficiency. SOLUTION: Sloping surfaces 20a, 20b which slope down from the center toward both side ends are formed on a lower surface of a duct section 14 of the drier body, drainage holes 21 are formed in the lower edges of both the sloping surfaces 20a, 20b, and the water flowing into the duct section 14 from a hot air outlet 15 is securely prevented from invading to the side of the heater cover 18, and the drainage holes 21 are made smaller than before, and the hot air is prevented from blowing out through the drainage holes 21, then, the drying efficiency is improved.
