摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcharge prevention integrated circuit that cuts off a charging path between a secondary battery and a charger when a charging voltage of the secondary battery reaches a second voltage (a first voltage<a second voltage<an overcharge voltage). SOLUTION: The overcharge prevention integrated circuit is interposed in the charging path between the secondary battery and the charger for charging the secondary battery so as to control cutoff operation of first/second cutoff circuits for cutting off the charging path. The overcharge prevention integrated circuit includes a first output circuit, which outputs a signal for allowing the first cutoff circuit to execute the cutoff operation on the basis of the detection results, detected by an external device, that the charging voltage of the secondary battery reaches the first voltage(<the overcharge voltage), a detection circuit for detecting whether the charging voltage of the secondary battery reaches the second voltage(the first voltage<the second voltage<the overcharge voltage), and a second output circuit that outputs a signal for allowing the second cutoff circuit to execute the cutoff operation on the basis of the detection results, showing that the charging voltage of the secondary battery reaches the second voltage, of the detection circuit when the external device does not output the detection results.
