The present invention relates to a mobile device and a control method thereof. The mobile device receives a battery usage amount from a battery controller and one or more touch inputs from a user, estimates a lifestyle pattern from the user based on the received touch inputs, analyzes the battery usage amount and the estimated lifestyle pattern of the user, determines battery discharge time based on the analysis result, and outputs a message to the screen based on the determined battery discharge prediction time.
