The purpose of the present invention is to provide a styrene-(meth)acrylic ester copolymer having excellent transparency and hue, low water absorption, and excellent dimensional stability or resistance to warping due to moisture absorption. A styrene-based optical resin composition comprising (A) a styrene-(meth)acrylic ester copolymer having 20-80% by mass of styrene-based monomer units and 80-20% by mass of (meth)acrylic-ester-based monomer units, (B) a hindered-phenol-based antioxidant, and (C) a phosphorus-based antioxidant, the content of component (B) with respect to the total content of components (A) through (C) being 0.01-0.3% by mass, and the content of component (C) with respect to the total content of components (A) through (C) being 0.001-0.3% by mass.
