The present invention addresses the problem of providing a liquid chromatographic analysis method whereby a hydrophobic compound and a hydrophilic compound can be easily analyzed in a single column without using a plurality of analytical columns or analyzers. Provided is a liquid chromatographic analysis method characterized by comprising: using an analytical column packed with a polymer packing having a hydroxyl group; using as a mobile phase a solvent mixture consisting of a water-soluble organic solvent with water; and switching a reversed phase chromatography mode and a hydrophilic interaction chromatography mode by changing the composition ratio of the water-soluble organic solvent and water in the mobile phase to thereby analyze a hydrophilic compound and a hydrophobic compound.
