PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that can easily and accurately correct displacement of pixels.SOLUTION: A projector comprises: a control section 31 that creates data of a pattern image in a reference color to be modulated at a position avoiding an outer edge of a liquid crystal light valve 13G, and creates data of a pattern image in an adjustment color to be modulated at a position avoiding outer edges of liquid crystal light valves 13R and 13B; and a pixel displacement correction section 342 that determines the amount of change in positions in the liquid crystal light valves 13R and 13B on the basis of an operation input to an input section 32, and changes the positions of pixels on the outer edge in the pattern image data so that the determined amount of change becomes the amount of change in the pixels on the outer edges of the liquid crystal light valves 13R and 13B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
