PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that gives various notices on an image formation device and reduces occasions for a user to work.SOLUTION: A PC 100 communicates with a printer 200, and obtains the residual number of sheets and the residual quantity of ink from the printer 200. The PC 100 gives notice on ink in addition to notice of no sheet if the printer 200 does not have any sheet, and gives notice on sheets in addition to notice of no ink if the printer 200 does not have any ink. About the notice on sheets, the PC 100 displays notice on the replenishment of sheets if there are few sheets.
